Soul set to hold practice on Market Street

PHILADELPHIA (The Phanatic Magazine) - The Philadelphia Soul are set to hold the first ever professional sports team practice on the streets of Philadelphia.

The 16th and 17th blocks of Market Street in Center City will be closed on Thursday, May 5 from noon to 1 p.m. in order for the team to hold a walkthrough practice prior to its home game against the Jacksonville Sharks on Friday, May 6 at the Wells Fargo Center.

Mayor Michael Nutter, former Governor Ed Rendell, Soul Co-owner and former Eagle-great Ron Jaworksi, head coach Mike Hohensee, the 2011 Soulmates and the entire team will be on hand.
