Yahoo! Sports' Dave Meltzer is reporting that UFC 100, headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir, became the fastest sellout for a major arena MMA event ever in the United States.
According to Meltzer, the show sold out the 11,000 seat Mandalay Bay Events Center by Friday afternoon.
Tickets were set to go on sale Saturday to the general public.
Virtually allof the tickets were sold on Thursday to UFC Fight Club members and the remaining seats were gobbled up in an Internet sale for subscribers of the UFC newsletter.
