Baseball as America coming to Philly

Baseball As America, the national exhibition tour which examines the relationship between baseball and American culture, recently concluded its 13th tour stop Jan. 13 at the Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas. The exhibit will open in Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center Feb. 15 for a three-month run through May 11 before concluding the U.S. tour in Boston at the Museum of Science in the summer.

To date, more than 2.5 million people have visited the exhibit over the last five years. By comparison, the Museum welcomes about two million visitors to Cooperstown every seven years. The exhibit is sponsored nationally by Ernst & Young. For more information, visit baseballasamerica.org.
