The Philadelphia 76ers announced their television broadcast schedule for the 2011-12 season, with broadcast partner Comcast SportsNet leading the way by carrying 74 games, while The Comcast Network picks up six games. All 80 of those broadcasts will be available in high-definition. The other two games on the schedule will air exclusively on TNT (Nov. 24 at Atlanta and Dec. 15 at New York).
The Sixers also have three home games which will air nationally on ESPN (Nov. 9 vs. Houston, Dec. 16 vs. Atlanta and Mar. 21 vs. New York) in addition to their coverage on Comcast SportsNet. NBA TV is scheduled to carry seven Sixers games (blacked out within 75 miles of the team’s home market) over the course of the season, which are also available on Comcast SportsNet.
Additionally, Comcast SportsNet will air both of the Sixers preseason home games at Wells Fargo Center on Oct. 11 vs. New York and Oct. 17 vs. Washington.
All regular season games carried by Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network are available in high-definition. Each of the home games with a 7 p.m. start time will we preceded by a half-hour pregame show and “Sixers Postgame Live” will air immediately following every game televised by Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network.
The Comcast Network is set to host six road games, including Dec. 13 against division rival, New Jersey and Dec. 23 against Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Bobcats.
