The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Jamar Adams from the practice squad and released safety Jamar Wall.
An undrafted free agent of the Seattle Seahawks in 2008 from Michigan, Adams (6-2, 215) spent most of the 2008 and 2009 seasons on Seattle’s practice squad. He was, however, promoted to the active roster three times during that span and played in seven games, recording four special teams tackles. Adams was released by the team prior to the start of the 2010 season. An All-Big Ten second-team honoree as a senior, the 25-year-old Adams played in 47 career games (34 starts) at Michigan, recording 172 tackles, four interceptions and two sacks.
