The
Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that Philadelphia Eagles offensive line coach Juan Castillo could be on his way to Minneapolis to join Leslie Frazier's staff as either offensive line coach/assistant head coach or offensive coordinator.
Frazier and Castillo, who joined Philadelphia in 1995 as an offensive assistant, was promoted to tight ends coach in 1997 and and made the move to offensive line coach the following season, are good friends dating to their time together on the Eagles staff.
The Vikings are believed to be waiting to hear from Josh McDaniels, who interviewed for the team's offensive coordinator position on Jan. 7. McDaniels, however, is expected to take the same position with St. Louis since the Rams are set at the quarterback position and Minnesota is anything but.
Castillo has also been mentioned as a possible candidate to join former Eagles assistant Pat Shurmur on the Cleveland Browns staff.
