Leading up to Saturday night's game against the Kansas City Brigade, the Philadelphia Soul made a few roster moves over the previous two days.
On Thursday, the Soul signed defensive lineman Delbert Cowsette and quarterback Leon Murray while placing wide receiver Steve Gonzalez on waivers and releasing qurterback Clint Stoerner.
Stoerner's release means Juston Wood will continue to quarterback the Soul until Tony Graziani returns.
Cowsette began the season with the New York Dragons and posted 6 1/2 tackles and one sack through six games before being waived. Murray also began the season with the Dragons and was 8-of-18 passing for 64 yards.
Then on Friday, Philadelphia placed Sean Scott on injured reserve because of a hamstring injury. Scott, who missed the Soul's last game against the Chicago Rush, has 34 catches for 372 yards through six games on the season with seven touchdowns.
By landing on IR, Scott will be ineligible to play for a minimum of four weeks.
