'Tis the season to mock

The Phanatic Magazine continues a series of mock NFL drafts with former NFL Scout Frank Coyle of draftinsiders.com checking in ..

1. Oakland -JaMarcus Russell QB 6-6, 255 LSU
Raiders need new leadership and Russell would be fine addition.

2. Detroit - Adrian Peterson RB 6-1, 220 Oklahoma
Lions would love this feature back despite adding Tatum Bell in trade.

3. Cleveland - Joe Thomas OT 6-7, 310 Wisconsin
Browns have to find a way to protect QB Frye and Thomas would be too good to pass on here.

4. Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson WR 6-4, 235 Georgia Tech
Bucs are sitting and hoping the best player in the draft falls to them here.

5. Arizona - Gaines Adams DE 6-4, 265 Clemson
Cards seem do this every year and never gets their changing front four right.

6. Washington - Alan Branch DT 6-5, 330 Michigan
Redskins would love this anchor for their front four.

7. Minnesota - Brady Quinn QB 6-4, 230 Notre Dame
Vikings are hoping he falls to this spot where they could not pass on him.

8. Houston - Leon Hall CB 5-11,195 Michigan
Texans defense has several blue chip players and another top cover man can put this unit up another level.

9. Miami - LaRon Landry FS 6-2, 205 LSU
Dolphins are looking for an impact defender in secondary and Landry would be an early starter.

10. Atlanta - Jamaal Anderson DE 6-6, 255 Arkansas
Falcons will have to replace Patrick Kerney and probably look to this spot with their #1 pick.

11. San Francisco - Ted Ginn WR 6-0, 180 Ohio St
49ers’ offense needs a premier playmaker and Ginn can strike from anywhere.

12. Buffalo - Lawrence Timmons LB 6-3, 230 Florida St.
Bills defense suffered some FA losses and a speedy backer would be a great addition here.

13. St. Louis - Amobi Okoye DT 6-2, 290 Louisville
Rams are looking to this guy to be a difference maker on their disappointing front four.

14. Carolina - Levi Brown OT 6-5, 325 Penn St.
Panthers will probably address the tackle spot early and Brown is flying up the charts.

15. Pittsburgh - Dwayne Jarrett WR 6-5, 210 USC
Steelers need more playmakers for Big Ben to return to top form.

16. Green Bay - Michael Griffin SS 6-0, 200 Texas
Packers have problems in the secondary and along their front four.

17. Jacksonville - Reggie Nelson FS 6-1, 190 Florida
Jaguars defense is looking to add a playmaker in their disappointing secondary.

18. Cincinnati - Greg Olsen TE 6-5. 255 Miami
Bengals passing game needs some impact on the inside and Olsen is a blue chip performer.

19. Tennessee - Marshawn Lynch RB 5-10, 220 California
Titans released Travis Henry and are looking to add a playmaker out of the backfield.

20. N. Y. Giants - Paul Posluszny LB 6-1, 235 Penn St
Giants made major changes on their disappointing backer unit where Posluszny could be an early NFL starter.

21. Denver - Adam Carriker DE 6-5, 280 Nebraska
Broncos defense needs a stud pass rusher and Carriker is flying up the charts.

22. Dallas - Chris Houston CB 5-10, 180 Arkansas
Boys will be hard pressed to pass on this fast cover man, though not their biggest need position.

23. Kansas City - Jarvis Moss DE 6-6, 255 Florida
Chiefs will debate a pass rusher and cover man in the early rounds and Moss is moving up quickly.

24. New England- Aaron Ross CB 6-0, 195 Texas
Patriots secondary could suffer FA losses and with injuries and aging players this could be the focus of one of their two #1 picks.

25. New York Jets - Darrelle Revis CB 5-11,190 Pittsburgh
Jets are expected to address the secondary early with possibly their #1 pick this April.

26. Philadelphia - Jon Beeson LB 6-0, 225 Miami
Eagles are looking to a front seven defender with big play ability.

27. New Orleans - Zach Miller TE 6-5, 260 Arizona St
Saints looking to give QB Drew Brees a big play weapon in the middle.

28. New England - Dwayne Bowe WR 6-2, 220 LSU
Pats are looking to draft into the deep receiving class with an early selection.

29. Baltimore - Justin Blalock OG 6-4, 330 Texas
Ravens continue to rebuild their line with age at a few key positions.

30. San Diego - Robert Meachem WR 6-2, 205 Tennessee
Chargers will probably address this deep position early in the draft and possibly with their #1 pick.

31. Chicago - Joe Staley OT 6-5, 295 Central Michigan
Bears’ have problems along their offense line and look to address the tackle spot early.

32. Indianapolis - Patrick Willis LB 6-2, 230 Mississippi
Colts are looking for front seven defenders and Willis is one of the most consistent
