The Philadelphia Phillies have placed pitcher J.C. Romero on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right calf.
Romero was hurt during Monday's game against Milwaukee. The 34-year-old lefty has no record with a 3.86 earned run average in seven games this season.
The Phillies recalled pitcher Mike Zagurski from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to fill the roster spot.
