The Sports Business Journal late Wednesday reported that former Major League Baseball Players' Association head Donald Fehr will accept a position as NHLPA Executive Director.
Fehr is best known as one of the key figures in the baseball strike which began in August, 1994 and lingered into 1995.
The NHLPA has been without a leader since Paul Kelly was removed on August 31, 2009.
