The Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have signed LB Keenan Clayton to a four-year contract.

Clayton converted from safety to linebacker after his sophomore season, and went on to earn All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades in his junior and senior campaigns.

The Sulphur Springs, TX, native, accumulated 120 tackles and four interceptions as a senior at Sulphur Springs High School.

The team also announced they have placed DB Marlin Jackson (Achilles) on the Injured Reserve list and have released the following four players: QB Joey Elliott, RB Keithon Flemming, WR Pat Simonds and FB Chris Zardas.
