PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference and ESPN announced kickoff times and television appearances for several football games to start the 2012 season.
Temple’s opener with Villanova in the fourth annual Mayor’s Cup, sponsored by Dunkin’ Donuts, is set for Friday, August 31 at Lincoln Financial Field at 7 p.m. ESPN3 will broadcast the game online.
The Owls continue their two-game homestand with Maryland on Saturday, Sept. 8. Kickoff is set for Noon on ESPNU.
Under the guidance of second-year head coach Steve Addazio, this season’s squad returns 35 lettermen, including nine starters.
