The Eagles have tendered MLB Stewart Bradley (2nd round compensation), OG Max Jean-Gilles (4th round compensation) and CB Dimitri Patterson (no compensation); and one exclusive rights free agent, RB Eldra Buckley.
The team also announced they have named Matt Nagy offensive quality control coach. The 32-year-old Nagy served as coaches assistant during the 2010 season after spending the 2008 and 2009 training camps as a coaching intern.
A former quarterback for the Arena Football League, Nagy played six seasons for the New York Dragons (2002), Carolina Cobras (2004), Georgia Force (2005-06) and Columbus Destroyers (2007-08). Over his career, Nagy completed 65.5 percent of his passes for 18,866 yards, 374 touchdowns and a quarterback rating of 115.1.
Nagy starred collegiately at Delaware, where he set over 20 career passing records including attempts (895), completions (502), yards (8,214) and touchdowns (58). In addition, he garnered All-America honors as a senior after setting single-season records in attempts (379), yards (3,436) and touchdowns (29).
After graduating from Delaware, Nagy gained coaching experience at several local high schools, as he served as an assistant coach at Manheim Central (2001), the quarterbacks coach at Cedar Crest (2002-03) and the offensive coordinator Palmyra Area HS (2008-09).
