Temple - Penn State to air on WIP

PHILADELPHIA (09/16/10) - Temple University's football game against Penn State, scheduled for Saturday, September 25 (3:30 p.m.) will be broadcast by SportsRadio 610 WIP.  The game, originally scheduled to air on Temple's flagship station, The Big Talker 1210 AM WPHT, was moved due to a conflict
with the Philadelphia Phillies game.  The game will be also be televised live by The Big Ten Network.

SportsRadio 610 WIP personalities Rob Charry and Hugh Douglas will host a pregame show in-studio starting at 2:00 p.m. before turning to the Temple Sports Radio Network team of Harry Donahue and Steve Joachim for game coverage.   Following the broadcast, SportsRadio 610 WIP will provide an extended postgame show.

Temple, off to its best start (2-0) since 1981, concludes its three-game homestand with Connecticut on Saturday, Sept. 18. Kickoff is set for Noon at Lincoln Financial Field.  ESPN Plus/ESPN Game Plan (shown locally on 6ABC) will broadcast the game live regionally with Michael Reghi calling the action and Doug Graber providing color commentary. The Owls' radio broadcast will air on WHAT 1340 AM.
