After losing Pro Bowl fullback Leonard Weaver for the season to a torn ACL, the Philadelphia Eagles are set to workout a pair of possible replacements, Jason Davis and Owen Schmitt, according to the National Football Post.
Schmitt actually played behind Weaver during his rookie season with the Seattle Seahawks, and the former fifth-round pick out of West Virginia also has a workout scheduled with the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday.
Davis, meanwhile, originally signed as a rookie free agent with the Eagles out of Illinois back in 2006. He has also spent time with Chicago, Oakland and the NY Jets.
