The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting that the woman accusing Penn State running back Austin Scott of rape made a similar charge against another college student in 2003 and that case resulted in an acquittal.
According to the newspaper court records show many of the details surrounding both accusations are similar. The woman claimed both alleged attacks occurred after she was drinking, that she willingly went to the man's bedroom, and that she awoke to find each man trying to have sex with her.
"This is a false accusation again by a pathological liar," Scott's attorney John Karoly said.
