Philadelphia, PA - Lefthanded pitcher Bobby Livingston was acquired by the Phillies from Tampa Bay Tuesday in exchange for cash considerations.
Tampa Bay had claimed Livingston off waivers from Seattle earlier in the day.
Livingston, 24, made three relief appearances for the Mariners during the 2006 campaign. He spent the majority of the year with Triple-A Tacoma, where he went 8-11 with a 4.59 ERA 23 games (22 starts). He pitched at least 6.0 innings in his final nine starts of the season and posted a 3.09 ERA in his last five.
