PHILADELPHIA- The Eagles signed lengthy wide receiver Ifeanyi Momah over the weekend.
The 6-foot-7 Boston College product sat out the entire 2012 football season while recovering from a knee injury suffered in the 2011 campaign.
The 23-year-old Momah, who weighs 239 pounds, had 39 career receptions for 629 yards and six touchdowns in his collegiate career.
He recorded a career-best 8 catches for 157 yards in the team’s home opener in 2011 but missed the remainder of the season due to injury and did not play in 2012.
The Greenlawn, NY, native earned all-state honors as a senior wide receiver and defensive end at Elwood-John H. Glenn High School, while also competing on the school’s basketball and track teams.
