Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills today have been awarded linebacker Marcus Dowtin off of waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dowtin, a 6-foot-2, 226-pound North Alabama product, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets in 2012.
He appeared in three games with the Jets after being elevated from the Practice Squad on October 17th. Dowtin was signed to a reserve/future contract with Philadelphia on December 31, 2012 before being released on April 11.
