9 Soul games to air on Comcast


PHILADELPHIA  – The Philadelphia Soul have announces a local television coverage partnership for the 2012 season.  Nine regular season games will be broadcast live, exclusively on the Comcast Network and Comcast SportsNet.

“We are thrilled to have Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network as our local TV broadcast partner this season,” said Soul Vice President/COO John Adams.  “We have a tremendous team this year with one goal – to bring another Championship back to Philadelphia.  This partnership is a significant improvement from our 2011 coverage and allows our fans to follow us closely during this exciting season”

Along with the nine games on the Comcast Network and Comcast SportsNet, two games will also be featured on the NFL Network to a national audience as the AFL’s Game of the Week.  These games will air live on March 23, when the Soul visit the Pittsburgh Power and April 20, when the Soul take on the Tampa Bay Storm at home.  All of the Soul’s games will also be streamed live via the Soul’s Ustream site – www.ustream.tv/PhiladelphiaSoul.

All games will be produced by Lou Tilly Media Enterprises, with play-by-play duties held by 11-time Emmy Award winner, Lou Tilly and Philadelphia Soul General Manager, Tom Goodhines providing color commentary.
