Phillies All-Star Ryan Howard will undergo surgery on Wednesday in Baltimore.
Dr. Mark Myerson will conduct the surgery on Howard's left Achilles which he injured during the last play of Friday's season-ending loss to the Cardinals.
NBC10's Howard Eskin has reported that Howard will be out until at least May or June of next season.
