The procedure was performed by Dr. David Altchek with the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Bynum is scheduled to begin physical therapy on Friday but will remain non-weight bearing for approximately three weeks. Hes then will spend an additional three weeks on crutches, at the recommendation of Dr. Altchek.
