PHILADELPHIA (July 14, 2011) – The Philadelphia Soul have announce that Soulmate Alexandra will be representing the Soul at ArenaBowl XXIV as a member of the “AFL Dream Team.” After nearly three months of fan voting, the members of the “AFL Dream Team” were announced earlier this week.
“All of the Soulmates are very talented dancers,” said Alexandra. “It’s an honor to be selected to represent them and the Soul at ArenaBowl.”
The “AFL Dream Team” is composed of 18 dancers, one from each AFL team, who will perform at ArenaBowl XXIV and make appearances during the ArenaBowl Championship Week. The squad will be led by the Arizona Rattlers’ Co-Dance Director, Angie Baker.
“‘AFL Dream Team’ adds even more excitement and entertainment for our fans at ArenaBowl,” said AFL Commissioner Jerry B. Kurz.
Alexandra has previously danced for the Philadelphia Kixx of the Major Indoor Soccer League, the Shippensburg University In-Motion Dance Troupe, and the Jazz Unlimited Dance Ensemble. When she’s not on the Soul’s sidelines on game day, Alexandra is in the classroom teaching Special Education to children in kindergarten through third grade.
