Bellator MMA will return to Caesars Atlantic City, for Bellator Fighting Championships 49 on Saturday, September 10th, kicking off the promotion’s fifth season, which airs LIVE on MTV2. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at TicketMaster.com and Bellator.com.
Bellator 49 marks the start of Bellator’s 3rd Welterweight Tournament and will feature some of the sport’s best 170 pounders, as Brazilian knockout artist Luis “Sapo” Santos, five-time Bellator vet Dan “The Handler” Hornbuckle, top prospect Douglas “The Phenom” Lima, Season 4 Welterweight Tournament finalist Rick Hawn, and Bellator 39 winner Ben Saunders headline a stacked tournament field.
The night will also see some of the area’s best regional talent, with local New Jersey, Philadelphia and tri-state area fighters will be featured on the night’s card.
