Philadelphia Wings goaltender Brandon Miller was named the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Overall Player of the Week today. This nomination comes after a weekend sweep of the Boston Blazers and Colorado Mammoth.
Miller allowed only 16 goals of the 103 shots he faced in the two games. He is now the NLL leader in save percentage, stopping 82.5% of all shots thrown his way. He is second in the NLL in goals against at 8.8 per game and in saves at a total of 208 in the first half of the 2011 season. Miller is the first Wings player to receive Player of the Week honors this season.
