Temple junior guard Ramone Moore has been named the Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week for the week ending February 13. It is the second time this season that he has been honored by the city league.
The Philadelphia native (Southern HS) averaged 24.0 points, five rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in leading the Owls to a 2-0 week. He scored a team-high 22 points and dished four assists in TU’s 77-66 win over Fordham on February 9. He followed that with a game-high 26 points and a career-high nine rebounds in a 75-63 win at Dayton Saturday. In that game, he 11-of-13 free throw attempts and also distributed three assists.
Moore leads Temple and ranks 11th in the Atlantic 10 Conference with a 15.0 scoring average. He also ranks second on the team in assists (77) and seventh in the A-10 in free throw percentage (100-124, .806).
