B-Hop finally gets his revenge

Anyone who has heard Bernard Hopkins talk about Donovan McNabb knows the former champ holds a grudge.

Hopkins avenged his longest-standing dust-up last night in Las Vegas when he took a unanimous decision over Roy Jones Jr. in a light heavyweight fight marred with rabbit punches, low blows and headbutts.

Hopkins dominated on the scorecards that read 117-110, 117-110 and 118-109 for the Philadelphia native.

The bout was a long-awaited rematch of aging stars, as the spotlight for the 45-year-old Hopkins (51-5-1) and 41-year-old Jones (54-7) has dimmed significantly since they met back on May 5, 1993.

Jones won a unanimous decision for the middleweight title 17 years ago but had lost five of his previous 10 fights coming in, including a first round defeat at the hands of IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green last December.
