Sixers' Jordan to Rutgers?

The Newark Star Ledger is reporting that Rutgers is attempting to get coach Fred Hill to accept a buyout that would pay him for one of the final three years on his contract. The University has asked Hill to make a decision by Monday and is reportedly targeting Sixers coach Eddie Jordan as a replacement.

Jordan, who played his college ball with the Scarlet Knights, is expected to be fired by the Sixers shortly after the regular season ends next Wednesday in Orlando.

Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski reports a source close to Jordan says the Sixers' coach does have "significant" interest in the Rutgers job and he school is calling around on him.
