The fallout continues from the collapse of the Trenton Titans.
On Friday, less than half a season into an agreement, the Greenville Road Warriors apparently removed themselves from being the ECHL affiliate for the Flyers and Phantoms.

Flyers assistant GM Ron Hextall mentioned in the piece that it would be nice to have a farm club closer than South Carolina.
With the Phantoms slated to exit Glens Falls after this season, the Civic Center would have up to 38 dates open for another team to fill the void, and since it's a political hot-button issue in the town to have a hockey team, you can read between the lines there.
