Blake and Sockwell gearing up for Reading bout

READING, PA - O n Saturday night November 10th  at the Riveredge Hotel in Reading, Kings Boxing presents a great night of boxing that will be headlined by an intriguing six round Jr. Middleweight bout featuring Grayson Blake and Robert Sockwell

Blake of State College, PA has a record of 5-0 with two knockouts and has a signature win over then undefeated DeCarlo Perez (5-0-1). In his last bout, the thirty year-old Blake scored a fourth round stoppage over Corey Preston on February 25th.

Sockwell of East Stroudsburg, PA has a record of 4-2-1 with all wins coming via knockout. The twenty-five year old southpaw has two consecutive stoppages which his second round stoppage over Terrell Boggs on August 31st.

“I was supposed to fight him a couple of months ago but he had injured his nose”, said the undefeated Blake.

“I will be well prepared and the extra time has let me get in extra strength and conditioning and more time to acclimate to his southpaw stance.  I expect this to be a wonderful and competitive fight but we are bringing more to the ballgame then in my previous fights”

In a six round co-feature, Jeremy Stauffer of Reading, PA will look to thrill the hometown fans when he takes on Elvin Sanchez in a Cruiserweight bout.

Stauffer has a record 7-2-1 with six wins coming early.

Stauffer has some good wins on his record which includes a third round stoppage over previously undefeated Ryan Simich (3-0-1) and in his last bout he scored a four round unanimous over Dan Shull on August 11th in Temple, PA.

Sanchez of Paterson, NJ has a record of 5-2 with four knockouts has a win over Philly tough guy Pedro Martinez (Martinez won the rematch).  In his last bout, Sanchez stopped another Philadelphian in Brian Donahue in one round on October 13th in Newark, New Jersey.

In a six round co-feature, highly decorated Cuban Yordenis Ugas will see action in a six round Welterweight bout.

Ugas who was a 2005 World amateur champion and 2008 Olympian has compiled a record of 11-1 with five knockouts.

The native of Miami via Cuba won his first eleven bouts with wins over DeJuan Jackson (1-0), Kenny Abril (11-3-1) and Esteban Alamrez (10-4) has been featured on ESPN and Fox Sports.

Ugas is looking to get back in the win column after dropping an eight round split decision to fellow unbeaten Juan Garcia (11-0) on March 23rd.

In a four round bout, Frankie De  Alba will battle Benjamin Burgos in a Super Featherweight bout.

De Alba of Bayamon, Puerto Rico who now calls Reading home has a record of 4-1-2 with two knockouts. De Alba has won two straight which includes a win over undefeated Andrew Bentley and his bout when he scored second round stoppage over tough Philadelphian Paul Fernandez on August 11th.

Burgos of Mount Pocono, PA won his pro debut when he scored a four round unanimous decision over Rasheed Estrada on October 12th in Philadelphia.

In a four round Super Featherweight bout, Sammy Quinones will take on debuting Charles Mack of Philadelphia in a four round bout.

In a battle of Heavyweights, Randy Easton 0-1-1 of Williamsport, PA will take on undefeated Aaron Kinch (3-0-1, 1 KO) of Newark, NJ
