Sportsnet.ca is reporting that Flyers have a deal in place with goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov.
Nick Kypreos is saying the club and Bryzgalov have in fact agreed to a long-term deal, although it cannot be announced until July 1. Numerous reports have suggested Bryzgalov was looking for a contract somewhere in the seven-year, $50 million range and a tweet from CBC’s Elliotte Friedman Wednesday said the deal that’s in place could be worth about $7 million per year.
