Flip Flop on the Pages: Phils, Myers capture city

The Phillies continued their climb to the top of the city's hearts...at least until another disappointing April. Already likely penciled in as the Opening Day starter, Myers and the club agreed to a three-year, $25.75 million contract, buying out his last two arbitration years and the 2009 free agent season. The Phanatic reacts at the bottom of the press release.

Normally at the top of the positive vibes, Andy Reid's immediate family continues to place the Eagles head coach in a bad light. WPVI, Channel 6 Action News, uncovered new details in the fiascos involving both Garrett and Britt Reid, Andy's two sons.

The Phanatic then obtained a statement from the lawyer representing both young men.

Our Super Bowl XLI coverage continued Thursday, with Tim McManus theorizing that Peyton Manning is bound to throw away the biggest game of his distinguished career.

Check back with The Phanatic on Saturday as we display our weeklong Super Sunday coverage, along with staff predictions, all in one click.
