PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul have brought back veteran defensive end Teddy Jennings for the team's playoff push.
The 6-foot-6 UConn product was a first-team All-Arena player for the Soul in 2014 when he ranked fourth in the AFL and matched a franchise record in with 11 sacks. Jennings also tallied 26.0 total tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, a blocked kick and a safety a year ago.
“Anytime you can add an All-Arena performer onto your roster, you have improved your team,” Soul head coach Clint Dolezel said. “He had an outstanding rookie season and he will help our pass rush as we continue to make our push toward the playoffs.”
The Soul (10-2) will travel to Los Angeles to face the Kiss on Saturday.
