Sixers let McGee walk

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia 76ers waived JaVale McGee prior to midnight on Mar. 1, making him eligible to join a postseason roster.

The Sixers originally acquired McGee and Oklahoma City's protected 2015 first-round pick from Denver on Feb. 19.
