PHILADELPHIA - One of the highlights of Monday morning's Temple football practice session was the “Oklahoma Drill,” where the hard hitting physical style of head coach Matt Rhule’s first training camp was evident.
Former Owl great Paul Palmer, the former runner-up in the Hesiman Race back in 1986 was in attendance for this mornings practice. Palmer recently was hired to be Temple Radio Network color analyst.
Also in attendance at Monday's practice was Anthony Becht, a 2000 first-round draft pick of the New York Jets via West Virginia University. Becht is a Philadelphia native who attended Monsignor Bonner High School. He currently serves as an analyst for ESPN covering the American Athletic Conference.
