The Philadelphia Phillies are expected to place second baseman Chase Utley and third baseman Placido Polanco on the disabled list later Tuesday, a source told ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick.
Utley has a thumb injury and Polanco is atruggling with an elbow injury.
