Falcons pass on Heckert; hire Dimitroff

The NFL Network's is reporting that the Atlanta Falcons have hired New England Patriots director of college scouting Tom Dimitroff to be the new GM in Atlanta.

Dimitroff and Eagles GM Tom Heckert were he front-runners for the job.
