Eagles interested in QB Thigpen

Minnesota Vikings coach and ex-Eagles offensive coordinator Brad Childress told a radio station in Minneapolis this morning that the Eagles are interested in QB Tyler Thigpen as a possible emergency replacement for backup A.J. Feeley, who broke his left hand in the Eagles’ final preseason game.

Thigpen was a seventh round pick of the Vikings this year and the team is trying to sneak him through waivers and onto their practice squad.

“They’d be within their rights to do it,” Childress said on WCCO. “[But] I’d be sick.”
