PHILADELPHIA – The Soul offense came to play Sunday afternoon, outscoring winless Jacksonville, 63-52, in their 2015 home opener in front of 9,043 fans at Wells Fargo Center.

Receiver Ryan McDaniel led the 3-0 Soul with 11 catches for 133 yards and five touchdowns. Marco Thomas added seven catches for 73 yards and two touchdowns while Shaun Kauleinamoku had three receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown.

Quarterback Dan Raudabaugh finished the night by completing 21-of-30 passes for 261 yards, eight touchdowns and one interception while Tommy Taggart added ten rushes for 19 yards and one touchdown.

“The new faces of the roster add a spark this season and lift up the entire team up,” Soul Head Coach Clint Dolezel said.  “Ryan McDaniel came ready to play like he has since training camp. He has been our offensive leader all season making big plays and catches. Both teams knew each other well and it was an important win to grab in front of our fans for the first time this season.”

Next week, the Soul remain home against the Cleveland Gladiators (2-1) on Saturday, April 18 at the Wells Fargo Center. The game will kick off at 7 p.m.
