The Philadelphia Flyers have locked up another of their 2014 draft picks, announcing Thursday the signing of Nicolas Aube-Kubel to an entry-level contract of indeterminate length.
Aube-Kubel, taken in the second round at #48, appeared in one preseason game for Philly, before being returned to juniors on September 22.
The 18-year-old Quebec native and right-handed shooter has already recorded three points in three games for the Val d'Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, after posting 53 points in 65 games last year.
