PHILADELPHIA - Former Temple star Khalif Wyatt is the latest "low risk" option the Sixers are bringing in.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Sixers have agreed to terms with Wyatt on a multi-year, partially guaranteed contract, similar to the one worked out with ex-Lakers point guard Darius Morris.
Wyatt finished his senior season on North Broad Street averaging 20.5 points, 4.0 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game. He was the Atlantic-10 player of the year but went undrafted. Wyatt played with the Sixers' Summer League squad in Orlando and averaged 13.8 points per game.
Wyatt joins new look backcourt featuring rookie first-round pick Michael Carter-Williams as well as Morris, former Grizzlies bench player Tony Wroten and James Anderson, who was picked up off waivers from Houston.
