The Phillies have placed pitcher Michael Stutes on the 15-day disabled list and recalled pitcher Michael Schwimer from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Stutes is bothered by right shoulder inflammation. He has no record with a 6.35 earned run average in six games out of the bullpen this season and last pitched on Saturday against San Diego.
