The Philadelphia Phillies and CBS RADIO’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT and SportsRadio 94WIP today announced a multi-year broadcast partnership for live play-by-play coverage of Phils pre-season, regular season and post-season games. The new agreement begins in February 2012 with live coverage of the team’s spring training camp from Bright House Field in Clearwater, Florida.
Fans will be able to listen to Phillies games on WIP’s crystal clear FM signal for the first time in history. And fans at the games listening to radio announcers Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen call the action from inside Citizen’s Bank Park will get to experience the broadcast live as play is happening (no delay).
