Philadelphia - The Sixers have recalled rookie big man Craig Brackins from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Sprinfield Armor.
Brackins, who was originally assigned to the Armor on Nov. 30 in order to get some playing time, excelled in five games, averaging 17.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.8 blocks in 37.4 minutes a game.
He has appeared in just one game as a Sixer, scoring six points in 10 minutes of action at Toronto on Nov.24.
Brackins (6-foot-10, 230) was the 21st overall pick in the 2010 Draft by Oklahoma City. His rights were then traded to New Orleans along with the rights of forward Quincy Pondexter in exchange for Morris Peterson and the rights to Cole Aldrich. The Hornets then shipped Brackins to the Sixers, along with Darius Songalia, for Willie Green and Jason Smith.
