A press release from The Phanatic
King of Prussia, PA (The Phanatic) - The Phanatic determined its Philadelphia Phillies season preview coverage on Thursday.
The in-depth look at the 2007 'Phightins will kick off on February 25th with 35 straight days of Phillies, one article per day detailing each member battling for position as the season begins.
Major League Baseball editor Michael Rushton will unveil a comprehensive season outlook on the morning of Opening Day -- April 2nd versus Atlanta -- while staff season predictions and a link to each player story will appear at the bottom of the in-depth preview.
Also, from February 25th through noon on Opening Day, The Phanatic will be running, "Charlie's Corner: Be the Manager Contest." If you can fill out Charlie Manuel's Opening Day lineup exactly like the skipper does against the Braves, you will be entered to win a pair of Phillies tickets to a game TBD.
As always, The Phanatic will continue to report breaking stories and write in-depth feature and opinion pieces throughout the Phillies stay in Clearwater.

Will any reporters being going to Clearwater to cover the team? I am curious to know how some of the younger guys from our minor league system look. Drabek, Jaramillo, Happ, Maloney, Bourn, and maybe even how Tim Moss develops intrigues me. I think a lot of us loyal Phanatic goers would really like an indepth look at the Phillies minor league system. Lately it seems that it has been getting butchered in the mainstream media but from what I have seen and read I think that we have some fairly decent lower level prospects that could really turn out to be solid contributors a few years down the line.
