The Philadelphia Flyers have apparently brought goaltender Carsen Chubak into the fold.
Bill Meltzer was first with the news on Sunday evening, that the club officially signed the Niagara product to an American Hockey League deal.
Chubak, 24, completed his third and final collegiate season by going 23-7-5 with a 1.19 goals-against average, .939 save percentage and tied for the most in D-I hockey with six shutouts.
Overall, the native of Saskatchewan went 27-11-6, 2.15 GAA and .930 save percentage in 45 appearances for the Purple Eagles.
Niagara earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament but fell to North Dakota.
