Temple basketball returns to WPHT

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University Athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Learfield Sports' Temple Sports Properties, announced today a multi-year agreement with CBS RADIO station 1210 AM WPHT to continue as the home of Owls Men's Basketball games.

The 2014-15 men's basketball season will mark the 14th straight year that fans in the greater Philadelphia market can hear Temple basketball games on 1210 AM WPHT.
  
"We're excited to announce that Temple men's basketball games will continue to be broadcast on 1210 AM WPHT," said Temple University Vice President and Director of Athletics Kevin Clark. "We have had a great relationship with the CBS RADIO station for the past 13 years, and look forward to continuing that partnership."

"The basketball program is something that any graduate or fan of the game can be proud of, and we are thrilled to continue its long standing partnership."

Veteran Philadelphia broadcaster Harry Donahue, now in his 13th season at the microphone, will continue to handle the play-by-play duties while Temple Hall of Famer John Baum is in his 18th season providing color analysis.
