Eagles, Carter agree to 4-year contract extension

It's the first official day of Training Camp 2026 and the Birds are angling to make the sports headline of the week across the Delaware Valley. 

As reported by multiple non-team sources, the Philadelphia Eagles and defensive tackle Jalen Carter have apparently agreed to terms on a mega 4-year contract extension.

The 25-year-old native of the Orlando region and University of Georgia product stands to make up to $160 million across the length of the deal, which would make him the highest paid player at the position in the National Football League.
