Phils win final Spring Training tune-up

Philadelphia, PA -- Ben Revere continued his hot hand which began last night, collecting two hits and two runs scored as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-4 to conclude spring training action for both teams.

Chase Utley knocked in two runs, while Carlos Ruiz and Grady Sizemore added an RBI each as the hosts finished off the series sweep.

Revere won Friday night's opener with a two-run, walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth to give the Phils a 7-5 decision.

Phillies starter David Buchanan tossed five innings of scoreless ball. Philly will start the season Monday at home against the Boston Red Sox.

Corey Hart and Keon Broxton each drove in a pair in defeat for the Pirates, who are coming off a playoff appearance.

Bucs starter Charlie Morton allowed six runs -- five earned -- on four hits and five walks over 1 2/3 innings. The Pirates will also begin their season Monday, but in Cincinnati as the National League schedule traditionally gets underway in the Queen City.
