PHILADELPHIA – The 76ers have signed center Dewayne Dedmon to a 10-day contract.
Dedmon (7-foot, 255) was an early entry candidate for the 2013 NBA Draft
following his junior season at Southern California. He played for Miami
in the Orlando Pro Summer League and for Dallas in the NBA Summer
League in Las Vegas before joining Golden State for training camp and
preseason.
In 15 starts for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA D-League this
season, Dedmon was averaging 15 points, a league-high 13.5 rebounds and
over two blocks while shooting 54 percent from the floor. He also played four games for the Warriors earlier this season.
